Reviewed Blueberry Cream Cheese Stuffed Baked French Toast

"I made this twice this summer with fresh blueberries. It is SO GOOD! I did make a few changes to use what I had without a trip to the store. I left crusts on the bread and used a variety of partial loaves I had out, some raisen bread that was too dry to eat plain, some leftover sourdough and some regular sandwich bread. I had cream, no half and hal..."

    About Me

Wife. Mom. Gardener. Creative/Artsy stuff. Reading.

Passions: Children, their education, safety and well being. Womens rights.

Pet Peeves: People who don't know anything, and are content to stay that way, making no effort to learn or better themselves in any way. Failure to act or take initiative.

Favorite cookbook: Joy of Cooking for its practicality and general information which can be used and applied to other recipies. I love Alton Brown's "Good Eats" TV show for the same reason.

I'm only famous in my own house.... famous for my Pad Thai (according to one son). Famous for Gyros and Fideo according to 2 of them, and famous for singing badly, and loudly according to all 3 of them!

    Favorite Foods

Old World dishes. Cassolet, rich Italian sauces, stroganoff, thick crusty breads. . .

All kinds of Ethnic food especially Greek, Italian, Chinese, Mexican.....

    Ah, yes, and CHOCOLATE

Favorite thing to cook - something I can throw in a crockpot, have the entire meal in one dish and (here's the clincher) have it taste good, fresh and healthy. Nearly an impossible task in a crock pot since everything tastes overcooked and mushy. But yes, I do love my crockpot!
