    About Me

If I spent as much time cooking as I do reading and saving recipes, we'd be eating so well! I love recipes and adore reading reviews from those who actually make the recipe. My favorite thing to do is collect recipes for an upcoming event or regular ol' week of dinners.

While I love to cook, I find that I just don't seem to have a knack for baking, and that challenge is one I really want to overcome. I also am not crazy about clearning up, but that's another challenge, one that I'm not likely to overcome anytime soon.

I live with my significant other (at my age, it's hard to call him a boyfriend), and my Maltese dog, Tucker. Both of them will eat just about anything :-) I have two grown daughters out on their own and cooking their own meals (I do miss cooking for them). We all live in central Texas - Austin area.

I most appreciate recipes that have freezing instructions or tips, as I freeze quite a bit so that I have easy dinners during the week. I also love crock pot recipes. I also appreciate recipes that give me the compliments -- those are sure to be served again and again. Looking forward to having more time to cook in the future -- someday!
