    About Me

I live in Missouri and am a Homeschool Mom. I love to cook and instill the love of cooking in my 13 year old son, who is still trying to get the hang of it. I enjoy watching him learn the basics and it is wonderful when he cooks dinner for all of us here at home. I am a heart transplant recipient, at the age of 38 years old. I had it done 4 years ago this May! I am grateful for everyday I have with my family.

    Favorite Foods

We love to try new foods. My family is not afraid to try unusual recipes and we love to eat veggies, although my husband is a self proclaimed "meat and potatoes" man.

I would like to discuss how I write reviews:
First and foremost, I try to make the recipe JUST like it is written. With this in mind, if I really HATE anchovies, and the rest of the recipe looks great, I will eliminate it because it is my choice to take them out if it is a garnish, but will not make the recipe if this is the main ingrediant.
I try not to alter it at all. If I alter it too much, that means it is my recipe, not yours. So, with that in mind, I would like to let you know that 5 stars are hard to get with me, but a 4 is absolutely wonderful. A 5 is like a revelation to me, and I give them out but not all the time, so please bear with me :) I love this site...isn't it a great place to get info?!
