Reviewed Chorizo, Spinach and Chick Pea Saute

"This dish was great with a good variety of flavor without having to add extra seasonings. I would definitely recommend serving this dish with a rice pilaf or another dry starch as I found it really needed starch. Bread didn't really do the trick. I used artichoke in water as suggested by another reviewer also. "

    Reviewed Vegetable Gumbo

"I make this with our homegrown black-eyed peas and add Cajun seasoning, about two teaspoons to one tablespoon. I make my roux super dark as well. Top this with a hot sauce of your choice and this is a great meal!"

    Reviewed Chicken Korma

"This is a go-to recipe for a busy week night at our house. The flavors are good, although we don't always follow the recipe exactly each and every time. We cut back the oil and add more garlic each time, however. Great on flavored pitas or on a homemade Indian fry bread too. "

    Reviewed Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

"The first time I made these, I made the mistake of only using a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon of baking powder. I was disappointed that they didn't rise, but I decided to try them again. Holy smokes, these truly are the most melt-in-your-mouth, fluffiest, butteriest biscuits I've had, let alone made. This recipe is going to become my go-to for..."

Reviewed Linguine With Sausage and Mushrooms

"This recipe had good flavor and definitely needed the salt and pepper at the end to bring everything together. I would make this dish again, but perhaps would try to thicken it up a bit more by adding some tomato paste. "

Reviewed Pasta With Escarole and Chickpeas

"A major disappointment and practically flavorless. I added a 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper in the initial cooking process, which did little to make the entire dish flavorful. Topped with with pepper and more red pepper flakes, as well as more cheese, which really did nothing. "

    Reviewed Skillet Hash and Eggs

"I found this recipe to be seriously lacking in flavor. I pulled my skillet out of the oven at 5 minutes as my eggs already looked set and it was already too late, as the yolks were nearly cooked as well, especially on the outside. I found that this didn't really crisp up at all either. It needed some more seasoning, maybe red pepper or garlic, p"

    Reviewed Spanish Turkey Meatball Stew

"This turned out amazing. As suggested by another reviewer, I added red pepper flake to my meatballs. The flavors were great and it truly tasted like I had cooked it all day. Served this with Ann Burrell's foccia bread and I'll be doing this again!"
