Originally from Washington, DC, metro area, I have lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan since 1990. Since last year, I have been running a Japanese vegan recipe website, cooking school, food consulting and vegan coaching business with my partner. My hobbies include cooking, running, yoga, and photography.
I have loved cooking since primary school. After becoming vegan four years ago, it took a lot of getting adjusted to cooking without animal products, but now it's totally natural and effortless.
