    I love to cook! And I love to tinker with recipes. I am practically incapable of making a recipe as it is written... I even have to doctor mixes! Sad, I know...  Lately, we've been experimenting with being "mostly vegetarian" and are loving it.

    5 stars--my goodness, this is astonishing!
    4 stars--very good, something I will make again
    3 stars--this was fine, but not love
    2 stars--this recipe is fatally flawed

    Favorite Foods

    As I live in a very rainy place, my favorite food has got to be soup. Followed by more soup, and then a little more soup! I also love pasta, and things roasted in ovens.

    When it comes to eating out, I mostly like ethnic foods: Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese, and Lebanese, and food from Crete, and food from Scotland and, oh, basically food from everywhere! Portland, Oregon where I live, happens to have some of the best ethnic dining in America, all at very reasonable prices.
