    Reviewed Basic Batter Waffles

"Yum! First time I've ever made waffles from scratch. I usually use a mix. Never again! These were delicious. They were so light and fluffy. My teenage son requested them with homemade blueberry syrup and whipped cream. It was like dessert. Thanks for the easy and very yummy recipe."

    About Me

I'm a single mother of a 13 year old boy. I'm a home health care nurse and take care of a man who has MS. I really love my job. I've always been the type to take care of people. I moved in with my grandparents a few years ago to help take care of my disabled grandma. My grandfather is 70 years old and still works full time. The man cannot sit still. I hope to have half of his energy at that age.

I've been a member here for a while now. I'm really bad about reviewing recipes. I'm going to try and do better. I love cooking but don't get to try new things all that often. My grandfather is a strictly meat and potatoes guy and tends to turn his nose up at new things. Thankfully his job does take him out of town quite often so I can cook things I normally wouldn't.

    Favorite Foods

Chili above all is my favorite food. I'll even eat it in the summer time much to my family's dismay. I like a lot of different foods. I can't really claim anything other than chili as a favorite.
