I am starting to compile a recipe book and was looking around for some new ones and found this site. I'm looking forward to trading some recipes! My husband and I love to cook!
I believe garlic should have it's own food group! My husband and I have an Asian inspired fajita dish we make that gets rants and raves. We marinade the meat in teriyaki and grill the meat and veggies, all the usual fix ins. It's just something about the teriyaki thatsets off the whole dish! I love making tortellini salad (Cheese tortellini with a red wine vinaigrette) People always ask for it. ALong with a corn pudding during the holidays. My real specialty is a recipe from my family in Mexico consisting of slow cooked meat infused with gralic, grren chilies and tomatoes. It truly is to die for. More recently I've been making a BBQ Beef slow cooked in Dr. Pepper, yes! Dr. Pepper! It tenderizes the meat like nothin else.
