    Reviewed Grandmas Sloppy Joes

"I;ve tried some other sloppy joe recipes, but none were just right. This is and the family loves it. I do add the optional mustard."

Reviewed Tacos from Scratch (Way Better Than a Packet and Just As Easy!)

"I used to rely on packaged mixes for our taco meals until my granddaughter needed a low salt diet. This recipe fit the bill perfectly. Even if sodium isn;t an issue in the future this will still be my "go to" for tacos!"

    About Me

I started cooking when I was about 12 years old. I was a fan of Graham Kerr's "Galloping Gourmet" and my mother helped me buy the ingredients and cook Steak Diane after I saw it on his show.

I can't cook for the family every night, but I try try to have one or two nights a week when I can fix them a home meal. Sunday is the day when my wife, 3 kids, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grand daughters get together to have a big dinner.

My picture is me holding my "babies". Being a grandfather is really great. They call me Papa by the way.

    Favorite Foods

Despite the possible health issues, my all time favorite is fried chicken! I do like chicken, pork, and fish better than beef. However, if I have a good grilled steak after a long abstinance, it does taste wonderful!

I love rice, pasta, most vegetables, and adore green salads. There are some tastes I don't care for, but I try them every now and again. Sometimes I find my tastes have changed and find a new favorite!
