    About Me

    My passions at this stage in life are health and nutrition. I'm fortunate to live in a city that has a WholeFoods organic market. My husband and I love to travel and make a point of getting away at least 3 times a year. Cruising is our favorite get-away. My favorite cookbooks are probably the Suzanne Somers collection. I use them the most. My biggest pet peeve is people who chew gum with their mouth open.

    Favorite Foods

    I am a stay-at-home wife who got into the controlled carb movement about 10 years ago. I began following the Suzanne Somers mentality for maintenance only, since I am (and was) at my ideal weight. I search for recipes that are low in sugars and carbs, substituting where I can. During my younger years I was known for my guacamole--but nowadays, I'm known as "the lady who made something so good, it can't possibly be healthy". My husband thinks my best dish is Peach Berry Crumble.
