Reviewed Slow Cooker Shredded Pork
"Excellent, no-fuss receipe. I left out the brown sugar and added a can of Rotel for a bit of extra heat. I also added fresh cilantro at the end."

I live in Orlando, FL with my husband, Jeff. We have two puggles, Riley & Eva, who we absolutely adore. We both work in IT, so during the week there isn't much time for me to cook. I do all our cooking on the weekend -- which is actually a lot of fun! I usually cook 2-3 dishes and then store everything in ready to go containers. I spend all day Sunday in the kitchen, either listening to my favorite music or watching movies (we're movie fanatics!).
I love to cook anything that's new to me, so it's rare I repeat a receipe without making some kind of change. I love experimenting and try to make each recipe my own. Spicy food is my absolute favorite (Mexican, Thai, Indian, Cajun) but I also really love soup. Just about everything I make is healthy, but on occasion I splurge. I cook with mainly whole grains, rich in fiber (whole wheat pasta & bread, brown rice), in order to stay away from white, enriched, bleached flour. I buy as much organic whole food as possible, avoiding the middle isles at the grocery store. I'd like to plant a garden so I can finally grown some of my own veggies & herbs... and save a bit of money in the process.
