    About Me

    i am a stay at home mom and like to spend my free time cooking and baking for my family. i love to try new things and have been trying more and more to make things from scratch whenever possible. i have decided recently that with 2 toddlers at home it is easier to bake a couple loaves of bread than to run to the store.

    i had some amazing gnocchi with a smoked gouda sauce at a place in park city, utah a few months ago. it was so good i was having dreams about it. i have since tried to make my own gnocchi at home and it doesn't seem to be as light and fluffy as the one i had in park city. (although still good) i have tried 2 different recipes and haven't found the right one. let me know if you have the answer!

    i love trying new ethnic foods and have been cooking: greek, indian, and italian lately. i have also had a summer fling with cupcakes and have baked so many it is embarassing. i will try almost any recipe i run into from kittencal as they are always amazing.
