Reviewed Crock Pot Cajun Pot Roast

"Great! I threw in some fresh mushrooms and a few quartered baby red potatoes. Thickened it up with a little roux left over from browning the meat and let it work in the crock pot. It was fantastic. Thank you for sharing this recipe."

    About Me

I grew up in Louisiana then moved around a lot to include Europe.  Originally I learned from my Grandmother, Papaw and Mom how to cook Southern/Cajun traditional meals.  I did the majority of the cooking for my family as I grew up and really love to cook.  90% of my recipes are measured using "a pinch" "cup of your hand" etc., though I have translated most of those to measurings as my kids now want to learn the recipes.

The last 10 years we have had to go Gluten Free; we've all got Celiacs Disease.  After 10 years of playing with it, guests do not know I am cooking gluten free unless I tell them.

I highly recommend Emerile Legasse's daughters gluten free cookbook.  Its fantastic.
