    About Me

I'm a Cuban American living in Alaska. I love trying new recipes and I am fortunate that I can use real, freshly caught (King, Silver, and Red) Salmon, Halibut, and Cod.

I strongly recommend not using farmed fish, canned fish, or red salmon (we only feed that to our dogs!).

I also recommend not altering Cuban dishes. It drives me crazy when I read how people added chili peppers or something Mexican to a Cuban dish. Our food isn't hot and we don't use chili peppers. If you want to experience Cuban cuisine then try it the original way. If in doubt, just Google it or ask me. :-)
