"Perfect "burger" to make for both vegetarians and meat eaters ..... just place the mushroom stack on top of a grilled burger or serve as written. Loved the flavors!"

I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Ohio in 1978. It was quite a culture shock going from the city to living next to the Amish. I spend most of my time cooking, cleaning and caring for my four kids. I have abandoned cookbooks and now cook from favorite, wilted recipe pages and the internet. I fell in love with my Italian family recipes (Scavo, Rotella, Scalzo, Micelli, Grande, Gigliotti) and my Mom's homecooked meals.

My favorite foods are Chicken Picatta, my family recipe spaghetti sauce and meatballs, and the Fannin Family salad (aka Casa D'Angelo Salad II). I am not afraid to try new things, so I am most famous for my adventurous cooking. We rarely eat out any more, but when we do, I most enjoy trips to Buca di Beppo, locally owned City Square Steakhouse or our local authentic Mexican Restaurant, El Campesino. I also enjoy family pizza night every Friday night in the winter months, when we test and try many variations on recipes.
