New Topic I have failed in Cooking Contests & Events
"I hang my head in shame. I did not get my recipes going. I have been working like crazy and haven't had time to cook or even shop for the right ingredients. In short...I suck. I am very sorry.
:(
Zoesmama #289117 has failed to make the recipes for my baby, SarahCKS #134145. 30 lashes with many wet noodles. "

Reviewed Chinese Fried Rice
"This is an excellent recipe. I used Basmati rice. That's about the only change I would make; I think a different type of rice would have made this even better, but it's what I had on hand. I did have to add quite a bit more of the lite soy sauce for flavor, but I normally do that with restaurant rice, too. I did not put a meat into the recipe, ..."

Reviewed Asian Pork Tenderloin
"This was an outstanding recipe. I marinated the pork for 24 hours. I also added a tablespoon of finely chopped ginger, and about 1/3 cup of diced onion and a smidge of Sriracha to the marinade. I boiled the marinade during the cooking process for about 12 minutes while the pork was cooking and served it as a sauce. I made this with Recipe #3874..."

Reviewed Guinness Cupcakes With Bailey's Frosting
"Why oh why can I only give 5 stars?? I knew the Guinness would add something special to the cake. It's such a rich beer, it kept the cakes moist and delicious with the perfect texture. I was a wee bit heavy handed with the Bailey's :) and the frosting was absolutely awesome. I got rave reviews on these and I absolutely can't wait to make them a..."

Reviewed Maryland Cream of Crab Soup
"The consensus at the table was actually 4.5 stars, but I'll bump it up to 5 because it was great! Light cream was just right. It was a bit bland tasting, so I added some extra Old Bay and 2 tbsp of sherry. Perfect! Thanks for the recipe!"

I am married and mother to two human girls and two feline boys. I am working full-time as of June 2012, and I love my job. I love to cook and bake and I love this site so much! Oh, and I just can't seem to leave recipes alone. I always have to tweak them, just to feel like I'm making them my own. Most of the time, it works out well. If you ever have any questions about my recipes, just ask!
My favorite dish to cook is probably chicken parmesan. I'm famous for my omelets, french toast, crabcakes and stir frys. I have many favorite restaurants, so it's hard to pick just one.

"I have a very good friend who brings me wonderful NY Bagels a few times a year. I throw them in my freezer, and I used to microwave them to bring them back to life. I tried a little something different for this past year and thought I should share it with all of you! Please note that all recipes require a minimum of 2 ingredients to post, so I in..."
