One of my favorite hobbies and a big stress reliever is browsing recipezaar and cooking. Recipezaar is my favorite website.
One of my recipezaar pet peeves is when someone gives a low rating to a recipe that they have made so many changes to that it hardly resembles the original recipe. I believe a rating should be on the original recipe with no significant changes and when I give a rating it's always based on the recipe as written. Not often do I give a rating after a first attempt because if the recipe fails first attempt it might be something I did wrong. 2nd failure I can safely blame the recipe :)
I don't have a favorite food, I have preferences. If I must make a choice I prefer pork over beef, chicken over turkey, rice instead of potatoes, coffee over tea, red wine to white. I don't care for eating sea creatures with fins or tentacles but love seafood with legs, like shrimp, crab or lobster. Maybe that will change with the move to the coast. For desserts I will choose pie over cake any day and ice cream trumps both.
