    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I live in the Feliciana area of Louisiana where most of the remaining plantation homes are. It is very lush and tropical, and very hot in the summer.
I guess my pet peeve would be people who try recipes, substitute endlessly and then complain that the recipe didn't work for them. I try to always fix a new recipe according to the owner's instructions, at least the first time.

    Favorite Foods

Oh my goodness. It would be far easier to list what I don't like. Raw cabbage, liver. And that's about it. I'm particularly fond of avocadoes, artichokes, asparagus, and I'm not even out of the "A"s yet.
I'm not famous for a special dish, more like a willingness to try anything once. And every once in a while you find a real winner.
Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.
