    About Me

hi there!love to cook--used to live on a farm, entered many small country fairs with canning, baking(everything) knitting, crochet, and ceramics.I have won numerous ribbons in all colors.I have had 2 coffee trucks and prepared most food items carried, myself.I have managed a restaurant and was also the cook. If I had a month off--I would spend it cleaning my house.I currently have a home-cleaning business.I have 2 people working for me, and we keep very busy.

    Favorite Foods

I like to bake most of all--cakes and pies seem to turn out best.I make a mean chelsia bun--have had my blue ribbon recipe put in print.favourite restaurant--hands down--is mandarin buffet.I have, since joining "recipezaar", come across another "eating place" in the city of Toronto, Ontario,Canada...
......Called "Winnfield's"! They make the best French Onion Soup, this side of France itself, and their "Rack of Ribs", are to die for!Their dinners are filling and they serve ONLY FRESH VEGETABLES with their dinners,an "object" that is hard to find in any restaurant, vegetables that don't come from a can or out of a freezer bag! This place can be found at 850 York Mills Road, North York.If you are ever in Toronto, and are hungry too, then please do, go and have a very good meal.
