Reviewed Green Chile-Cilantro Pesto Sauce (Pasta)
"This worked out great for me, I had my end of the garden year herbs and peppers I needed to do something with, so I did a head to head cookoff with this recipe and a more traditional pesto recipe and this one was my favorite. My wife even likes it and she's not a big fan of the traditional pesto. So far we've just tried it as a snack on bagel ch..."

Cooking is one of my many hobbies, right between fire spinning, model rocketry, gardening, deer hunting, and particle physics. By day I design medical devices at a small engineering research company, but the evening meal is my time to shine. My favorite cookbook to date is "John Madden's guide to tailgating." It's definately a masculine cookbook (which I admit is why I bought it), but where else do you find a recipe for a whole roasted pig!?
I love everything, and enjoy trying new and different foods from other regions, countries, and cultures most of all. I am especially fond of meats and seafoods. Beef is my power food, growing up on a cattle farm, I have the most experience with it. However I love to experiment and lately, have been in a hot pepper and cajun phase, mostly at my mild loving midwestern friends' expense.
