I do marketing for an engineering firm, though I'm trained as a librarian/archivist. I'm currently an activist for progressive causes, and plan to focus on animal rights in 2011. My fur kids are my crazy greyhound mix, Parsley Suzanne, an even crazier whippet/coonhound, Sasha, and my raccoon-shaped cat, Milo.
I was a cheese-and-pasta vegetarian for a few years in college, but I fell off the wagon. I probably bored myself. But I've rededicated myself to vegetarianism since April 2010. I'm much better at it this time around, in fact, sometimes I'm embarrassed by how well I eat... I try to focus on whole, plant-based foods, and I like a lot of flavor. I feel that when a recipe calls for only one clove of garlic, it isn't a flavoring, it's a missed opportunity!
