I'm an RN, I work in a rehabilitation hospital. I've been married almost 4 years, and I learned pretty fast that when a man says "Don't worry honey, I'm not picky about food" that he'll become the pickiest eater you'll ever meet, hehe.
My favorite foods are good old home style cooking, like meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, casseroles. My husband is from India so I've been learning to make a lot of curries, it's a real trial and error process. It has been fun to learn about new spices and how they work together though.
I'm pregnant now and cooking has been more of a challenge now that my "evening" sickness has kicked in! I realized that it's a lot easier to cook supper at 3pm rather than 6pm when the nausea hits :) Oh yeah, and cooking both jambalaya and saurkraut at the same time is not a great idea when your smell is at 1000x power!
