    Reviewed Hello Dollies

"Wow!!! These were so good. I was looking for recipes to help clean out my pantry, and this took care of a few things that I was looking to use up. I love SWEET, so these are just perfect. I did mix my graham cracker crumbswith the butter and then placed in 8x8 pan. I had macadamia nuts on hand so that is what I used. Even the hubby ate these and he..."

    About Me

I am originally from (in my opinion!) the great state of Nebraska! I am a HUGE Husker Fan, and love most college sports. My seasons go with the sport currently being played! I am an RN, and work at an outpatient center. I have great coworkers who are always willing to try my new recipes!  My husband moved us to Florida 5 years ago for his job. I love to cook. My grandparents used to own a steakhouse. So I think I got my love of cooking from them. I also have been a member of Weight Watchers for the past 3 years. Needless to say, I am looking at ways to make great recipes more healthy. I have two beautiful kids, a 6 y/o daughter and a 4 y/o son, who are my world!  And a cute mini daschuand, named Husker of course Wink. All three of them love to be in the kitchen and helping me in some way. I feel if I let them help make the meal they are more inclined to eat it!

    Favorite Foods

I love, love, love Mexican food. In Omaha, NE, we have many Mom and Pop Mexican restraurants that serve the BEST mexican food. It is very hard to eat out at "chain" mexican restraurants. Once you've eaten authentic there is just no going back!

Steak is another big "YES" food for me! But I am picky so if I'm not the making it, I rarely order it when we are out to eat.

Now being in Florida, I have a huge appreciation for fresh seafood. It is very different from the frozen we were only able to get back home! I love it, and we have a great time at the fish market just picking whatever we want out.

I love to entertain. We usually host game night every so often at our house. Each time a different theme is picked, from foods around the world to appetizzers. We try not to repeat a theme or a food. It can prove to be difficult. BUT our friends have commented on how much fun they have at every gathering because the food is always different and they would never try it otherwise. Now to me that is an accomplishment!
