I live in a tiny village in southwestern Nova Scotia. One of the most popular foods in this area is Rappie Pie (or Pâté a la râpure). It is a traditional Acadian dish and I will be posting a recipe for it as soon as I get one from my mother.
I love hiking and camping, playing piano and reading. My all-time favourite author is Baroness Orczy. (Bet you've never heard of her!)
I am Acadian but my favourite cuisine is definitely Italian. I'm married to an Italian, but he likes Acadian food more than I do. Our kids like both.
I am very interested in dessert/sweet recipes that don't use sugar or artificial sweeteners.
I would love to hear from you! Please email me at sbmarkle@eastlink.ca
