I am a happily married mom of 3 boys who recently lost her mom and is struggling to deal with that. My cooking has increased since I lost my mom. I think it's therapeutic. I love having "theme nights" where I plan a full meal based on something marginally relevant to me on the calendar-like national cream cheese day or something. I also enjoy cooking for my husband's extended family (I have no other family that lives in he area) and generally get good reviews but some of them are very picky and unwilling to try new things. Such is life!
