"Huge hit with my family. Simple to make. I will cut ketchup down to probably 3/4 cup to 1 cup. Flavors were awesome. I opted in for the liquid smoke, although I have to say I didn't really get a taste of it. After shredding meat I removed some (not all...so it kept the meat juicy) strained liquid from the crock pot and added about 1 Tbsp of su..."

A few time saving ideas I used to make this meal in 30 minutes exactly: I mixed 1 can of diced tomatoes with 1 can of tomato sauce and sugar. Put that in the bottom of 8x8 AND 9x11 glass baking dishes (needed the space ..."

I live in West Michigan with my husband and three kids. I love to try new foods, and my husband loves to be my guinea pig. :) My kids are learning to be less picky, and we've finally put the rule on the table that the food on their plate isn't going to kill them, so they still have to eat it. They may not like it, but they're still going to make an attempt at eating it. I'm starting to hear less grumbling from them now with that rule, so something must be working.
I'm a stay at home mom, and I volunteer at the kids school and also at our church. I fill my time while they're in school with running (trying to keep up with my marathon runner of a husband!), cleaning, cooking, and crafts.
When people ask me to bring something to a pot luck or fund raiser... it's usually a hit thanks to the recipes I've found on here. That's why I always pass along this website... it's too good not to share!

"We use this recipe for a quick addition of a veggie to many of our meals. The steaming takes away some of the time needed to brown up the brussel sprouts to a nice, caramel color for a wonderful taste!"
