    About Me

Hi All, I live in Sunny Southern California. I love to cook and bake since I was a child. My Granny Markus and mom were great cooking teachers and mentors. I love to cook for family and friends for special occasions and holidays. One of my favorite cookbooks is Better Homes & Gardens. Years ago as a single parent I taught my two daughters how to cook and bake. It is rare to see young women with the art of cooking under their apron in Orange County,California. My favorites past times are the symphony, plays, cooking, baking, antique shopping and watching classic movies. Our family pets, Honey our rescued Tabby, Mustang our female feral Tabby, Roxy our NAIDog - She is smart! and Snoopy our adopted male beautiful Siberian Husky. Cooking is therapeautic for me and I love to share my recipes!

    Favorite Foods

My favorite foods to cook and eat are my Homemade Chicken Enchiladas, Pineapple Cream Pie, my Grandmother's favorite Fried Chicken, and Pot Roast and vegies (crock pot recipe). I receive rave reviews and requests for my chicken enchilada recipe. My favorite restaurant is Morton's Steakhouse in Costa Mesa. Excellent steaks, seafood, and fresh vegies. Crab Cooker in Newport Beach, California makes the 'Best" Manhattan Clam Chowder!
