    About Me

I'm an artist, a wife to my amazing husband Rick (who is Italian and a great cook), and a mother to three spoiled-rotten cats, Capone, Calypso and Harley Quinn. I work from our home in beautiful Seattle, WA and I love to cook meals to feed a small army. Things that make lots of leftovers are my specialty...I like to make things that my husband can take to work the next day. I love to eat any kind of ethnic food but I don't know how to make anything that isn't good ol' downhome Southern Cooking. I learned to cook from my grandmother, who was a 'Bama gal, through and through. My favorite place in the world is New Orleans, so I love to make Cajun and Creole food. I call myself the Faux Chef because I don't have the talent to be a chef but I try really hard. My problem is, I never measure anything, which makes me TERRIBLE at baking. Embarassed
