    About Me

    I was raised on foods out of a can, box, or frozen. To have anything fresh was a treat, and I wanted to change that when I was on my own. I now understand why I had so many stomach problems growing up. My husband and I love to seek out new and different things, and create or modify good home cooking. I love to see what is out there, and what real food taste like without the preservatives, etc. Nothing is quite as good as stuff made from your own garden, which is my new passion as well.

    Favorite Foods

    I am pretty much open to just about anything as long as it is prepared right. I love most Italian (but I have a problem with too much spicy meats). I love Chinese (but I want to find ways to make more healthy). I enjoy many Mexican meals, and I love good down home cooking (those things that are just thrown together, and don't need a recipe, just added until the taste is just right. I have some good recipes, and meals I prepare, but for the most part, I'm here to find new and better things.
