"Super easy, that's for sure, but like others these tasted a bit more like flour than I would have cared. They weren't BAD, but they weren't what I was wanting either. I made 20 as written, and then added 3/4tsp of vanilla to the last of the batch. I'm not sure if it made them delicious, but I think it helped. I would have liked it if the cookies h..."

    About Me

Let's start with the 'vitals': Married 8 years, 28 years old, 3 children (7,2,9m), full time stay at home mom

Now that those are out of the way...

I've always enjoyed cooking, but it wasn't until I got married that I really started loving it. When the day came that I realized we were having some unnamed casserole yet AGAIN I turned to the net to find anything, and that's when my love affair with this site started. :) In the past 4 years, probably 20% of my dinners have been 'repeat' dinners with 80% being completely new things that I've found here. I have a big 'ol 3 ring binder in which I keep all the good ones printed out and in sheet protectors so that I don't have to run to my computer all the time to look things up. This is one of my favorite items in the house and would probably come up in my top 10 of things I had to grab if my house ever caught on fire. I may have nothing more to wear than p.j's, but at least my family will be eating creatively gosh darn it!

    Favorite Foods

It would probably be easier if I stated my least favorite food and that would be Thai. I've tried Mediterainian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, German, of course the typical 'American' fare, and I'm sure there's a few others in there that I can't fully remember right now. I've liked them all so far but Thai. I suppose that's not entirely fair because I have had some Thai food that I've liked, it's mainly the items with a strong taste of peanuts that I don't care for. Not that I have anything personal against peanuts. I love them really, just not in my food.
