I am a working wife and mother of 3. My boys are teenagers (17 and 19)and my daughter is 10 years old. My daughter was adopted from South Korea and because of that Korean food has become one of my passions. We visited Korea for two weeks in the summer of 2007 and had the best time ever! We love Korea!
I love to cook food from different cultures, especially Korean, Indian, Japanese, Mexican and anything that strikes my fancy. I have recently taken a liking to anything Buffalo! I think the dish I love the most that I cook is Dak Bulgoki a hot Korean chicken dish made with red pepper paste. It's yummy!
recipe #257758
I'm a big fan of Nigella Lawson, Tessa Kiros, Bill Granger and Rachel Allen. I'm collecting their cookbooks and trying at least one new recipe a week.
My favorite restaurants...in OKC it has to be Big Truck Tacos or B-Won Korean Restaurant (they make better dolsot bibimbap than I found in all of Korea!) I also love Khazana Indian restaurant.
One of my favorite snacks are Korean Mandu with cheese cubes and wine. Hey, don't knock it til you've tried it! ;)
I am really loving Food.com! I am finding so many wonderful recipes. It is so helpful to have the reviews from others who have tried a recipe before me. This place is awesome!
