It's funny really, but my S.O. and I argue over who GETS to cook on Sundays! He is one of those cooks that never has to taste anything, just seems to know which spices he needs. I, on the other hand, am always trying something new, and, YES, sometimes it flops. My rule? I follow the recipe the first time so I get a good base or foundation, and then after that I start tweaking it. (We all just KNOW that we can make something better, right?)
