"I have been searching for a good and easy pecan bars and this is it!! super easy to make and tasty!! I would however recommend a pan just a little bit smaller than the 9x13. Its a little tough to get the dough to stretch up the side the half inch."

I am a busy mom of one. I started my own business in 2004 which actually allows me to work less hours and devote more time with my son. Its a lot less stess too. In our spare time, my son and I love to go fishing. I love to make jellies, bake and read romance novels and cookbooks.
I am a true southern girl to the core, so I love all types of southern food. I think I could live off of rice and homemade gravy!! I have recently discovered I really like sushi. I am not opposed to trying new and different things. The motto in our house is...If you dont try it how will you know if you like it or not! Which could explain why I have a 10 yr old that loves all types of veggies and foods including rutabagas and raw oysters! LOL
