    About Me

My husband and I are retired and have moved back to Winnipeg after 6 years away. We sold our house and are now back to renting. We love golfing and have lots of time to travel, now that we are apartment living.

    Favorite Foods

My husband's favourite dish to cook is Szechuan Chicken as well as other Chinese dishes. On the other hand, I love to do dishes that take time, like making my own wontons and spring rolls. We have two recipes that everyone asks for. The one my husband makes is Arroz con pollo (chicken and rice), completely done in the microwave.
The one I make is Sausage Kraut Bake. We especially like recipes that freeze well, as do the two mentioned above.
Why spend time in the kitchen preparing these wonderful dishes and not being able to freeze the leftovers?
Our favourite restaurant is House of Dragon here in town. When we go to the city to eat, which isn't very often, we like to have a good meal, well prepared.
