    About Me

I live in the city, not by the shore and love to be able to cook early in the day when I'm fresh. I can't get along without my appliances--crock pot, rotisserie, bread machine, etc. My favorite cookbook is Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbook (First edition). I have my mother's copy that I learned to cook out of.

I also love camping and being away from home to experience the new and unusual. Pet peeves as far as food is concerned: 1)Food that is so seasoned you can't taste the featured item, especially when the seasoning is salt or hot peppers. 2) No choices for those who have dietary restrictions.

    Favorite Foods

Anyone realize that desserts is stressed spelled backwards? Being a diabetic means I've been on a mission to find or create desserts I can enjoy. I mean really, just how many times can one truly enjoy sugar free gelatin?

I've already posted Low sugar Eclair Pie and Lisa's Burgers both of which were big hits in our camping group.
