"Very nice rice! I used a saucepan to saute the onions in olive oil, added all the other ingredients and when it came to a boil I put it in a 2 qt glass pan, covered it with aluminum foil and put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350. I turned out great. We will have this again. Thanks for the recipe.

Reviewed Spanakopita Casserole
"We liked this recipe. I used 4 eggs and 1 cup eggbeaters. I also used low fat feta cheese. I had no green onions so used regular sweet onions, nutmeg and dill. The feta had basil in it. I used low fat ricotta cheese so it was a little less calories than listed. We will have this again. Thanks for a very tasty recipe. Carole in Orlando"

"Excellent! We loved the taste. I added the veggies to the black beans and broth when I blended it.
I cooked it a little longer to make it thicker, but did not change the recipe. Can't wait to have the leftovers! Carole in Orlando"

My husband and I are retired. He worked at WDW for 31 years and I was a nurse for 22 years. We have four children, five grandchildren and a great grandbaby due in Oct. 2006! Obviously by my Zaar name we live in Orlando, Fl. and have since 1956. We are Floridians in our hearts, we love the weather, the wildlife and the fact the our kids are all here, too. Our passion has been rescuing dogs, but this last year has not been the best for me physically so that is, sadly, a thing of the past. We do keep in touch with the Forever parents of dogs we have fostered and it is so wonderful to know that they are healthy and happy.
This July of 2009 we will have shared 50 years of marriage and we are still enjoying each day together!
Anything pasta is inviting to me. I love salads, easy to make desserts, the smell of baking bread when you walk in the door, rich hearty soups. I love to try new flavors and spices. Zaar is the one place on the net I visit every day. Great ideas, people and recipes.
My favorite cookbook is Sandra Woodruff's Best Kept Secrets to Healthy Eating. I always struggle with my weight and that cookbook keeps me on track and the recipes are great.
