    About Me

I am a teacher who lives on her own. I am not the most fabulous cook but I do enjoy experimenting with new recipes. About 8 years ago I was introduced to the world of preserving and now do it every year, mainly giving my preserves as gifts. I have made several kinds of jelly, salsa and pickles. I have found this website as an amazing source for new recipes.

    Favorite Foods

I love everything from Thai, Indian, Carribean, Japanese to Polish foods. Living in a small community it is hard to find a wide variety of ethnic foods so I have come to make many of them myself. It is a fun way to explore in the kitchen.
