I cook for fun (mostly because I don't have to cook every day) and am always on the lookout for interesting recipes. I also do some canning. Hobbies include jewelry making, drawing, and reading. I detest housework - but it gets done - eventually. I also detest car maintenance - that gets done immediately.
As long as a food is not rutabagas or green peppers, it's a favorite. I don't really bake much - because I would eat it. Appetisers, salads, main dishes and fresh vegatables interest me most. Throw in an interesting alcoholic concoction and I figure a company dinner is complete. Someone jokingly told me the difference between a company dinner and a family dinner is serving 3 veggies instead of 2. I figured out what I had done in the past - they were correct.
