    Reviewed Apple or Pear Cake

    "This recipe was wonderfully easy to make, however took waaaayy longer to bake than the suggested 45 minutes. I used a standard spring form pan. Other than the added baking time this is a great cake. The topping is sinfully delicious. Thank you so much for sharing"

    "I made this for a Greek themed dinner party. It was very tasty and I loved that I could make it in the crock pot. One of my guests was from Greece and he said it was very good . The aroma of the Stifado was heavenly and it tasted wonderful. thank you for sharng the recipe. I posted a photo as well"

    About Me

    I am a 41 year old dental assistant from Western NY. I have been married 13 years to a wonderful man who shares my love of cooking. We have no children at this time, but are adopting. We are waiting for the ok from China to pick up our baby girl. We have been waiting 10 months now and it looks like we will have to wait at least 10 more.All good things are worth waiting for. My husband and I also like movies. My husband is very understanding about the other love of my life ...Johnny Depp. I am also a music junky.I have a very diverse collection of music. My personal favorites are Bob Marley and the Beatles. I also collect cookbooks. I have many cookbooks from around the world. I would love to share my recipes. I like to cook but I really love to bake. I really enjoy watching the food network. One of my guilty pleasures though is watching BBC's and Fox's show Kitchen Nightmare's with Gordon Ramsay. He is awsome. Not necessarily a how to cooking show but great fun to watch. Give them hell Gordon.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite thing to make is my choclate raspberry torte.
    My favorite foods to eat are Japanese and most anything chocolate.
