    Reviewed Country Sloppy Joes

"Unless you are a ketchup lover, I don't see how this is a five star recipe and I should have known better by the ingredients listed. As is, it tasted like sweet ketchup. I had to add a ton of other stuff so that we would be able to eat it. Bland, ketchup with meat thrown in. No thanks."

Reviewed Paula Deen's Lemon Salad Dressing

"I left the mustard out but this is my new favorite dressing. It's simple and delicious, make sure you use real lemons and not that bottled lemon juice. I cut the sugar down to 1 1/2 teaspoons and it was sweet enough. This is my new go to dressing!"

Reviewed Au Gratin Hash Browns Potatoes

"This was really good! I have made other cheese potato casseroles in the past and I was afraid this wouldn't be as good but it was! The only change I would make would be maybe use 1/2 -3/4 of a small onion. I was afraid that the onion would not cook but it did so there really is no need to cook it first ( which is what I thought about doing at fir..."

    Reviewed "Never Weep" Whipped Cream

"Love this! This is amazing! I use it when I make cream puffs and it turns out beautifully. I use sugar free pudding and it holds its shape for at least 3 days as a filling in the fridge...it could be longer but it doesn't last long enough to find out! I double the recipe, and it's enough to fill 8-9 LARGE cream puffs. I do add 4 tsps of powdered su..."

Reviewed Garbanzo Bean and Zucchini Salad

"This was a nice change from our usual salad! I am not sure how raw zucchini would be because of the spongy texture so I oiled and grilled it beforehand. I doubled the recipe and tripled the dressing, I like things well dressed. This recipe sounded great but wasn't very appetizing to look at. I tasted the dressing before adding it and it was very s..."

Reviewed Grandma"s Zucchini Casserole-Giada De Laurentiis

"Tasty! I made some changes...I doubled the recipe and used mild cheddar and mozzarella in place of the other cheeses. I used cream and baked it for 35 minutes, to be honest it needed a little longer to cook so I will definitely go for 40-45 next time. Aside from that it reminded me of macaroni and cheese!! Next time I will bake longer and NOT cut ..."

Reviewed Fabulous Chicken Marinade for BBQ

"Best marinade ever! I used Old Bay and added a little brown sugar but kept the rest the same. The most tender, flavorful chicken I have ever had. I am not the biggest Old Bay fan but in this it was delicious! I always mix up another half of the recipe ( without the egg) to baste with/ pour a little on when it's done. Super delicious! Thanks =)"

    About Me

I have a confession to make -I think I am addicted to recipes! I spend almost all of my free time reading recipes and reviews. I am so addicted to zaar I feel weird making recipes without reviews, there is something about reading about what others have to say about it. I love to try out new recipes and ideas and spend a great deal of time cooking. Cooking truly is a labor of love! I have been reading this site for awhile now and I figured it's time to jump in and join in on the fun.

    Favorite Foods

It may be easier to write about the ( short list) of things I don't like ;-). I love a good roasted chicken ( the crispy salty skin being my favorite part). My mom makes the best chicken noodle soup in the world, it is so simple but so good. I also love crab dripping in a ton of butter, olives of any variety, crisp fall apples ( nothing beats the crunch), a good sharp cheddar cheese and chocolate-- can't ever forget about the chocolate!!!
