Reviewed Baked Zucchini Carrot Fritters
"This was good for me but not great. The idea of making fritters in a pan and cutting them in rounds seemed like a good idea to me. I like all kinds of fritters but they can be a pain to pan fry because they often fall apart. My problem with this dish is that it tasted more like a quiche than a fritter. You usually use eggs to bind fritters but much..."

New Topic Raspberry Lime Rickey Fudge in Recipe Requests - General
"Hi there, I've been looking everywhere and can't find a recipe for raspberry lime rickey fudge. The only time I get to have it is from a shop at the Big E Fair in Massachusetts in the fall. The BBF does most of the daily cooking but I like to cook to make a splash. I make dishes for entertaining or to bring to friends and family. I like food that looks good or means something special. Presentation is a big thing with me, unfortunately I don't have a lot of patience and that's usually my downfall. I'm usually a recipe cook so that's what makes this site so great for me. The BBF is a dump cook and that makes me jealous but I do like to search for recipes and plan meals so that's ok with me. The biggest obstacle to cooking for him is that I'm a vegetarian so I can't taste the food I'm making. I like to surprise him and that is pretty hard when I have to ask him to fine tune the seasoning. At least there is never a problem with having enough seasonings in our house. We have over ten different kinds of pepper alone and the rest of the herbs and spices fill one small and one large drawer and two shelves of a cupboard. I'm thinking we need to buy stock in Penzeys. One of my ambitions is to find the perfect signature dish that everyone loves. It will probably never happen though. I made cupcakes and fancy cookies for my BBF's son's wedding and it took a ton of tastings just to decide on the final menu for that. Decision making isn't my specialty...but maybe some day I will figure out what is.
The BBF's mashed potatoes with sauteed onions will be my last requested dish on my deathbed.
