Ever since high school, i've been a HUGE fan of Paula Deen. I wish she could adopt me!
My mother and i cook thanksgiving and easter for the rest of our family every year and we so look forward to it. I also really enjoy hosting parties and cooking for my friends. I'm more into baking than cooking just because i seem to get more "wow"s when i make a pie rather than a pot roast. Cooking relaxes me, and it's my way of showing my love and appreciation for the ones i love.
I live with my darling rockstar of a boyfriend,Justin, my 3 cats, and 2 dogs: Dr Gonzo, Jasmine, Jackhole, Sookie, and Layla. During the day (and sometimes into the night, to the early morning), i work for Oklahoma DHS child protective services, as an investigator. A stressful job it is indeed, which is why i really enjoy coming home and cooking dinner/dessert, when i have the time.
Hmm.. this might be kinda hard. If i had to choose my last meal, it'd be a spinach salad with ranch, my mother's deviled eggs, a big prime rib, rare and still mooin'!, with some sour cream-horsradish, a baked potato with everything but the kitchen sink. Creme brule' for dessert.
I hate hate hattte sourkraute(sp), pork chops, oysters, and meatloaf... and that's about it! lol
I'm willing to try everything once.
I could eat take out chinese food EVERY day for the rest of my life and die a fat, happy girl.
