    About Me

Life is Good! I'm just thankful! Happily married for 26 years or is it 27? Two amazing children aged 23 and 19 and a lap cat named Michelin (black and white like a whitewall tire). I am a licensed massage therapist working in a spa. I love massage! I have always been interested in health and learning new things. I tend to be a voracious reader and also love cookbooks with a picture with every recipe--you know--so I know what I'm shooting for! I love experimenting in the kitchen. I have recently (since March 2010) been interested in eating only raw/vegan foods so it's a whole new area to explore! I also respect the rest of my family still eating cooked foods and I'll cook for them occasionally although they're self sufficient and low maintenance. I love Recipezaar for its resources and also storage of cookbooks is much easier!

    Favorite Foods

I love experimenting in the kitchen. I have been known in the past as the "cookie lady" or "the bread lady" which is a lot of fun. I also make one of the meanest, evil cheesecakes that I know of--it's highly addicting! I also don't put any calories in my cooking! I always tell people that nowhere in the recipe did it say "add the calories now" so I just leave them out! (If you find any in there, you're on your own!)

Lately, I have been experimenting with raw foods recipes and enjoying them very much, and especially green smoothies which I'm totally addicted to!
