As of 2012, I currently eat close to Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson, which is based on Paleo (caveman / ancestral), is relatively low-carb and moderate protein; and I modify for my allergies. My family eats a broader spectrum of foods. I am familiar with Nourishing Traditions, Eat Fat Lose Fat and The Atkins Diet.
More specifically, I shoot for: grain-free, dairy free, gluten free, low-sugar, whole foods. And the occaisional all-out splurge of anything!
I try to primarly only these fats: butter, olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, lard and other animal fats, plus some seed oils, according to the knowledge contained in Nourishing Traditions.
