Shared Recipe Almond Flour German Pancakes

"A low-carb, low-glycemic, nutrient-dense food for a quick breakfast or snack. I use blanched almond flour from Honeyville Grain Co. and KAL brand stevia extract powder. The ascorbic acid is unbuffered Vitamin C which acidifies the mix and makes the baking soda react faster. Keep in the refrigerator for a quick on-the-go, Primal snack. Use this simi..."

    About Me

As of 2012, I currently eat close to Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson, which is based on Paleo (caveman / ancestral), is relatively low-carb and moderate protein; and I modify for my allergies. My family eats a broader spectrum of foods. I am familiar with Nourishing Traditions, Eat Fat Lose Fat and The Atkins Diet.

More specifically, I shoot for: grain-free, dairy free, gluten free, low-sugar, whole foods. And the occaisional all-out splurge of anything!

    Favorite Foods

I try to primarly only these fats: butter, olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, lard and other animal fats, plus some seed oils, according to the knowledge contained in Nourishing Traditions.

Favorite Cuisines: American, Sushi, Indian, German, Lebanese, Greek

    Almond Flour baking

    Coconut & nuts

    Turnips, Baked pears

Trader Joe's seaweed snacks, Red Pepper Garlic Dip

Blue Diamond unsweeteend almond milk beverage (refirgerated section)
