    About Me

Hi y'all....I'm 31 years old and live in a small town in Kentucky. My mother is German and my father was American so growing up I had a lot of traditional German dishes.
I love to cook and bake. I spend a lot of time browsing the internet for new things to cook  for my family.  I love to experiement with new recipes.
I live with my husband and 6 year old son. There is never a dull moment around our house. We own small grocery store. So I work a lot of long hours but I still enjoy fixing a meal every evening for dinner.
We both work 7 days a week at the store so we don't have a lot of time for much else. On the rare occasion we have a moment to ourselves we enjoy dinner and a movie or just hanging out at home with each other.
I love the summer months here in Kentucky they are absolutely beautiful..just perfect for soaking up the sun by the pool or taking my son to the park. I also love love love to read and my favorite TV show is and always will be FRIENDS. I still miss it to this day.
I'm still working on how I rate recipes but here is a guideline:
5 stars means it was outstanding and will definitely make on a regular basis.
4 stars means it was very good and will make again.
3 stars means it was good but maybe not something I'll make regularly.
2 stars means we really didn't care for this at all.
1 star means we couldn't even eat it.
I try to give very honest reviews as I would want that done for me.
I'm still working on posting recipes if you do decide to try one please post a review and be honest. I really want to know what you think and even if a review isn't great I still want to know. If you don't like something I would appreciate some feedback on how I could make it better.
Cooking to me is a work in progress and my work is never done.

    Favorite Foods

There's not much when it comes to food that I won't try. I love chinese and mexican foods......italian is close behind.
