    "The teen grumbles at every vegetable he gets served, even ones he doesn't mind. I was braced for it this time, but he actually LIKED it! I thought it was okay and would have given it a 4, but since he ate a whole half without complaining, I'm giving it the whole 5 stars. Yippee for getting a teenage boy to eat squash!"

    I'm a 30-something mom with a full-time job and a houseful of pets. I'm in FL, but have family in CA, PA, and Europe. In that oh-so-rare free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, or rubber stamping. And, of course, cooking!

    Favorite Foods

    I enjoy just about all kinds of foods, but I like them to be relatively healthy, with as little processing and chemicals as possible. I love this site because I can see how others have taken a posted recipe and tweaked it, which often gives me ideas of things to try myself. I'm great at just adding a shake of this and a pinch of that, but I generally need an "outline" of a recipe to get me going. I'd never last on one of those "here are 6 ingredients, now make something!" type shows.
