I am Registered Nurse but when I first was introduced to Recipezaar I was on maternity leave so I had a lot of time spent at home. What a perfect time to try recipes! Now with my second child, here I am again at home. You can find me constantly trying to find answers by searching online so I can try to "do it myself." I want to do my own taxes...go online. I want to repair something around the house...go online. I want to plan a big Carnival themed birthday party...go online. I want to make Mac and Cheese or a decadent cake from scratch...go on Recipezaar!
Since my husband and I commute to work pretty far in opposite directions plus have to pick up the kids, it is best we plan ahead on dinners. My favorite recipes use crock pots. You can just get it all together in the morning and turn it on. You come home and it's done. Absolutely perfect. We are an asian family so even our rice cooker has a ever-so-convenient timer!

"I tried these at bakeries and fell in love. I wanted to try to duplicate it but there are so many different recipes saying different methods. I finally did some trial and error runs and this is the recipe I followed and made 7 successful batches--all different flavors. They were a big hit!"
