"I am planning on making this for Thanksgiving;
http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/02/roasted-vegetables-in-crockpot.html
She mentioned that 4 hrs is critical. So then I had to find this one;

New Topic Question"s on Turkey Breast in Slow Cooker & Crock-Pot Cooking
"My wife wants to try a Turkey Breast in the crockpot. I've found Kittencal's recipe that calls for no additional liquid. I've found another recipe that calls for 2 cans of broth/stock. Considering that a crockpot produces a lot of liquid, why add more? I don't want poached Turkey Breast.

New Topic Bacon donuts in Breads & Baking
"We just found a bakery that sells maple and bacon covered donuts. The donuts were in a display case. We forgot to ask about storing them. Considering they have bacon pieces sprinkled on top, should these be refrigerated rather than leaving them at room temp. overnight?"

New Topic Need advice with Pumpkin Bread in Breads & Baking
"3 questions on recipe # 237596 Golden Pumpkin Bread
Recipe calls for 16oz. can of pumpkin. The ones I find now are 15oz. Will this affect the recipe? 150z. can instead of 16oz.?
Can I get away with 1 cup of sugar instead of 1-1/2 cups?
Recipe does not specify light or dark brown sugar. Any difference tastewise?
Thanks."

New Topic Looking for new cookbook in Slow Cooker & Crock-Pot Cooking
"Hi all. I just bought a Taste of Home crockpot cookbook and am disappointed.
Most of the recipes are 4 serving size. That means no extra's, no snacks later, no leftovers. I am looking for a new, up to date crockpot cookbook that has at least 6-8 serving size recipes. Lists what size crockpot to use. Main dish recipes. Don't need desserts.
Can ..."

New Topic Old Recipe Search in Slow Cooker & Crock-Pot Cooking
"I am trying to find something called Chicken Bog. First time I ran across it, it must have been 5-8 years ago. Doing a search on Food.com or even Google is producing current recipes.
Does anyone know of an "old" recipe using a crockpot? I can't find my original recipe, and the newer recipes aren't right. I remember cooking everything (incl..."

New Topic Looking for a cake with yeast recipe in Desserts
"I am remembering a cake from about 8 years ago. One of my co-workers was Russian and she knew of a Russian Bakery. The cake had yeast in it and the texture was very rough. Large air holes compared to a boxed mix. Taste was different also.
Does anyone know of a cake recipe using yeast?"
