I love almost everything, but I am very partial to potatoes, cooked any way but raw. I like the taste of spicy stuff, but not the hot. I like to cook dishes that are not complicated. I'm for quick and easy recipes with a dash of unusual ingredients. Lately, I've been throwing nuts of any kind into any dish that is appropriate, which is most of them. I make a mean shepherd's pie, shrimp casserole and, of course, mashed potatoes. the first thing I learned to make was skillet cornbread when I was 10 years old. Yummm.
