I am a married "thirtysomething" that loves to have fun. I enjoy cooking, cycling, photography, reading, hiking, camping, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, canoeing, travel, planting flowers, just about anything outdoors and watching my daughter grow up, sharing a love for food and cooking as I do.
I live in a rural area, but only 15-20 minutes from surrounding towns.
I love the outdoors in any way shape or form, beach, mountains, countyside....I am artistic and have an appreciation for the creative arts. I enjoy traveling, going to plays, museums, day trips to NYC & taking in various festivals. I have a "library" of cookbooks, so many that my husband had to build shelving to accomodate them all! I don't sit still for very long ...I have a desk job, so during my free time I like to find something to do other than to be in the seated position, unless of course I'm cycling : )
Mexican, Chinese, Sushi, Cheesecake, Creme Brulee, Steamed Crabs, Salmon, Scallops, Peanut Butter, Buffalo Sauce, Sweet Potatoes, Raspberries and just about any local fresh produce (you just can't get any better than that).
I don't eat red meat very often, however, I do enjoy a good mushroom swiss burger when the occasion arises.
I have a fresh herb pot on my deck. Every summer I enjoy making new recipes with the fresh herbs, especially dishes with cilantro!
I do have a particular affection for hot sauces.... I jokingly tell people when they ask where my daughter got her red hair that I ate a lot of hot sauce when I was pregnant!
